ค่ายเกม Mad Dog Games และทีมพัฒนา Saber Interactive ได้ทวิตข้อความประกาศเตรียมวางจำหน่ายเกมบริษัทกำจัดผี Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered อย่างเป็นทางการในวันที่ 4 ตุลาคม 2019 บนแพลตฟอร์ม PlayStation 4 , Xbox One , Nintendo Switch และ PC (วางจำหน่ายเฉพาะที่ร้านค้า Epic Games Store)

โดยในเกมบริษัทกำจัดผี Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered ผู้เล่นจะต้องหยิบเครื่องกำจัดผี Proton Pack ขึ้นมาอีกครั้งและเข้าร่วมทีม Ghostbusters เพื่อปกป้องเมืองนิวยอร์กจากเหล่าผีร้าย
นอกจากนี้เว็บไซต์ IGN ยังได้ปล่อยคลิปเกมเพลย์ใหม่ความยาวประมาณ 30 วินาทีออกมาให้ชมกัน ซึ่งในคลิปเกมเพลย์นี้จะเผยให้เห็นการต่อสู้กับบอส Stay Puft
